Temple Of Brutality

It's basically a live album, just without the audience. That's how guitarist Peter Scheithauer describes Lethal Agenda (Demolition), the debut Temple Of Brutality CD that was recorded over the course of only one week. It's metal, he says tersely. "Sure, it doesn't sound very polished, but that's the point." The result is an attitude that he doesn't think prolonged studio time and ProTools can capture.

The band formed in 2004, but the foundation of Temple Of Brutality was established years earlier when Scheithauer and 13A vocalist Todd barnes met in Los Angeles through a mutual friend. Barnes started adding lyrics and vocals to Peter's riffs, resulting in demos for "Beating The Man" and "Already Dead" in 1998. But when the guitarist briefly returned to Europe, Todd moved to North Carolina, and the two lost contact for nearly six years...
